They say it takes 21 days to develop a habit (my mother used to always say “they say” and I wondered who “they” were!). I started my Clay Every Day Project 22 days ago and I have to say, it IS getting to be a habit. I’ve posted here most, but not all of those days and am enjoying it – working on those 10,000 hours that will make me a real polymer clay artist!
A couple days ago, I found a great group of clayers on Facebook to hang out with – I was looking for others who were as obsessed with clay as I am and I think I’ve found them. Big shout-out to the ladies (maybe guys too, but I haven’t run into any yet) of Polymer Clay Collective! I’m not sure if that link will work if you are not a member of the group. If not, and you are interested in the group, just search on Polymer Clay Collective on Facebook.
While you are at it, be sure to also find and Like my Nee Nee Ree Beads Facebook page!
Today I polished some beads I’ve made in the last few days and made a necklace and a bracelet. The bracelet is not quite done yet, but here’s the necklace! I’m pretty proud of the way this pendant and necklace turned out!
Now I need to start listing on Etsy again! I have quite a few pieces that need to be added. Off to work on that!
